Bank of America has partnered with the city of Chicago to help alleviate some of that city's problems with empty foreclosed homes. BOA will be donating 150 vacant and abandoned properties to the "newly created Cook County vacant and abandoned building court call", and they're helping pay for demolition of condemned properties. This seems like a good idea for everyone involved. It will be interesting to see the results of this plan, and perhaps more cities will want to follow suit - especially those affected by natural disasters...
