North Minneapolis Post-Tornado Relief, a volunteer-run disaster relief group helping victims of the May 22 tornado in North Minneapolis, is organizing a donation drive this Saturday for North Mpls residents. This group helps connect tornado victims to resources and donations, and also helps coordinate volunteer efforts.
This Saturday, June 11, from 6am to 6pm, bring your donation items to 2818 Washington Ave North. They are accepting non-perishable food items, hygiene products, gift cards, water and pet food. (Larger items such as furniture and and clothing will be collected later.) Every little bit of help counts.
