We have been busy putting in the final touches of construction on a fun, contemporary home in the Longfellow neighborhood. The folks at City Desk Studio created the design and our team did all the installation. Read on to see more photos of project!
We added skylights, allowing more light to pour into the main floor. The structural framing became an architectural detail mimicked in other ways throughout the home.
We have to admit that a full glass exterior wall is a first for us. The frosted glass and exterior cedar screen will provide both privacy and aesthetic continuity along the side of the house. The in-floor and in-wall radiant heating will keep that room toasty warm on those frosty days.
We also worked on installing a new stairway with a custom railing and open steps. Overall, this project was a fun chance to work with contemporary materials. We can’t wait to show off more photos in the near future!
