We love it when awesome local companies combine their creative talents and create a product that is not only beautiful, but is made to be sustainable. Before passing away in 2008, noted local Modernist architect Ralph Rapson left behind a plethora of sketches and drafts of furniture renderings. Many never were produced, until now. Rapson Inc., led by Rapson’s son Toby and his business partner, Chris Reedy, are producing and selling licensed original furniture productions.

We are excited for Rapson Inc.’s latest creation, the Rapson Greenbelt outdoor rocker and lounge chair. Partnering with Duluth based Loll Designs, the chair prototype is made from recycled plastic and is solid enough to withstand being left outside in the coldest of Minnesota winters. Once these chairs hit the market, we think they would be a great addition to any patio or deck!
